The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring the functionality of water and drainage systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in plumbing systems, installations, and repairs.
Role and Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with local regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
- Cut, thread, and assemble pipes and fittings.
- Weld or solder pipes as needed.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand plumbing system requirements.
- Install and repair plumbing fixtures, including sinks, faucets, toilets, water heaters, and water softeners.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with plumbing codes.
- Document all work performed, including materials used, time spent, and any additional notes relevant to the job.
Preferred Skills
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade.
- In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
- Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Education and Experience:
- Vocational training or Certification in plumbing or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Plumber.
- Valid plumbing license would be an advantage
