Hotel Clerk

The Hotel Clerk will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, managing reservations, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. The ideal candidate should be a friendly and detail-oriented individual.

 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
  • Receive and process hotel reservations through phone calls, emails, and online booking platforms.
  • Ensure accuracy in reservation details and communicate effectively with other hotel departments.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure timely room readiness
  • Keep the front desk area organized and well-maintained.
  • Manage and distribute incoming faxes, emails, and messages.
  • Communicate effectively with other hotel staff members, including housekeeping, maintenance, and management.
  • Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and a focus on resolution.
  • Follow hotel security and safety protocols.

Education and Experience:

  • Proven experience in Hospitality and Tourism. 
  • Educational background in Tourism and Hospitality would be an advantage.
